- Profitability - We measure and report operating earnings as EBIT (or Earnings Before Interest and Taxes) and NPAT (or Net Profit After Taxes). We set targets each year and expect earnings to grow over the long term both organically (within our existing business) and through acquisitions and new investments.
- Productivity - We use the term ROE (Return on Shareholder's Equity), to measure our return on dollars invested or borrowed, and we build our plans around achieving aggressive targets.
- Value Creation - Shareholders expect to see the dollar value of their shares of Ridley Inc. grow. Good profitability and productivity is a start, but we recognize that investors are also willing to pay more for companies that are consistent, sustainable, responsible and well managed.
