RFO is the combination of our traditional Canadian feed business, which operates as Feed-Rite and Daco, and our traditional U.S. feed business, which operates as Hubbard Feeds.

Unique Operating Characteristics

Our traditional or core feed business, RFO, contributes the majority of our volume and earnings. The more than 30 plants that make up RFO share a number of common characteristics. They are generally full-line manufacturing plants that derive most of their business from products ranging from complete feeds to premixes, usually marketed to meat, milk, and egg producers located mostly in the upper Midwestern United States and Prairie Provinces
of Canada.

RFO provides expertise and resources to specialty businesses like RNS and RFI, some of which were originally a part of our traditional business. RFO also markets the majority of RNS and RFI products.
